Why's it need to be so tough?
I installed parallels on my new MacBook, and thought I’d install Vista x64.  However, Vista Ultimate comes in a seemingly open-proof container, consisting of five stickers/tape, a pull lever, and hinges just to open the damn thing.  I suddenly discovered how it’s actually possible that 6,000 people went to the ER last year due to packaged-related injuries.

An Obama America 2012 By James Dobson →
Every once in awhile I come across something so intellectually disgusting that I can’t help but just read it in order to make myself cringe at the thought of people actually being so ignorant.  This is definitely one of those reads. Some of the highlights: The most far-reaching transformation of American society came from the Supreme Court’s stunning affirmation, in early 2010, that...

Maybe She's A Bluebird
All of my fancy All of my dreams come true Just to be here with you For the last dream All of my life Starts to make sense now I think I see what it means When I was a beggar When I was a thief When I was caught up Was you that brought relief Sometimes you amaze me Sometimes make me crazy Maybe you’re a bluebird That will never fly away Not fly away, no Not fly away ...

The Day of Rest, Donny
Walter: I told those fucks down at the league office a thousand times that I don't roll on Shabbos!
Donny: What's Shabbos?
Walter: Saturday, Donny, is Shabbos, the Jewish day of rest. That means that I don't work, I don't get in a car, I don't fucking ride in a car, I don't pick up the phone, I don't turn on the oven, and I sure as shit
[shouts]
Walter: don't fucking roll! Shomer shabbos!
The Dude: Walter...
Walter: Shomer fucking shabbos.
The Dude: Oh fuck it. I'm out of here.
Walter: Dude, come on...
[rolls his eyes at Donny]
Walter: BABY...
[Donny nods]

– TIME Magazine: “America’s Health Checkup” This is an incredibly startling read, but definitely worth it.  I, like many, could probably stand to lose a few lbs, probably due to drinking too many microbrews over the past five years.  However, I’m not obese, my blood pressure...

Maven Web Solutions →
It’s been a fantastic week for the web design and consulting firm Eugene and I started.  We’ve almost doubled our overall revenue with some big clients we’ve locked down the past week, while wrapping up a host of projects from the past few months. Additionally - and perhaps more importantly - we’ve completely rebranded our company with a nice new site, business cards,...

I Really Don't Get The Gmail Theme Fad
My dashboard keeps blowing up with posts about modifying your gmail theme, but I just don’t see the appeal.  Most of the themes look really ridiculous, as if Google thought MySpace was some really inspiring feat of design aesthetics.  Then again, I’ve got two gmail accounts and might access them through the web once a month, but regardless I don’t need to dress my inbox up in...
