This is like a proud parent moment. Cutest thing ever going on over here right now. I should give them baths more often together.
TELLURIDE TOWN COUNCIL SAYS "YES," WHAT WILL PHISH SAY? | Telluride Photography -
This is outrageous. I find it hard to believe a town that size can really handle the touring beast should it besiege their mountain community, but I sure hope it all works out.
Would be nice to go, too. Who’s got my extras?
I will find a way in, that’s all I know. It’s too unbelievable for them or us to pass up :)

I love how my iPhone knows mattsimpson
Because there are multiple Matts in The Butter Room (and pretty much everywhere else), within the group my name is always written as a single word. Even Todd’s iPhone knows as much.
Telluride Daily Post: “Mark your calendars: Phish”
Mountains rule, and so does Phish.
Phish is on the calendar. Telluride’s arts board approved putting the jam band on the arts calendar for Aug. 9 and 10.
The arts and culture board, CCAASE, handles the scheduling for the town, so that no two major festivals are booked on the same weekend.
The band would play for 9,000 people, said Craig Ferguson, the organizer of the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. He’s working with Phish’s promoter, AEG Live, on bringing the band here.
If 9,000 people show up, that would make the Phish concert one of the biggest events of the summer, up there with Bluegrass and Blues and Brews.
GPOYW: Throw Your Hands Up Edition
My good friend Logan sent over this photo to me last night from an album of shots he took while we were out at the Gorge last summer. Needless to say, being on top of a cliff in the middle of nowhere under a cloudless sky with some of my best friends and favorite band had me in a wonderful mood. For the first time this year, it actually feels like a nice day in downtown Chicago too… sun shining, bearable winds, and the hint of spring finally starting to drift in.
Modified Titanium iPhone 3GS Casing (view the full video on Engadget)
This looks very sexy and is undoubtedly a better case than the plastic backing or even the original iPhone’s aluminum backing. Check the video out. The guy proves it actually gets full 3G reception and makes calls without issue. Pretty impressive.
