“The video consists of digitally fast forwarded time lapse 16mm photography shot from a rig set up in the back seat. The entire seven-day journey, shot at one frame per second of driving (one frame per 10 seconds at night) is compressed into less than four minutes.” (via: Time-Lapse Videos) — noahkalinaI was recently introduced to Michel Gondry by a friend of mine who lent me his DVD The Work of Director Michel Gondry, a collection of music videos, short films, documentaries and stories and from his work you can tell he tries to extract a bit of magic and mystery from things. He is a visual mathematician. My favorite music videos are 1) Kylie Minogue’s Come Into My World and 2) The White Stripes’s The Hardest Button to Button
I feel like I could be doing so much more with my life when I watch videos like this. Just to have 7 days of your life on video and condensed to 4 minutes, then put to music?
