Here’s Looking At You, Mr. President (via trappedintime)
I finally got around to getting my pics up.  I actually captured a few good ones considering how much adrenaline and alcohol were in my blood at the time.

GPOYW: 24th Birthday Bash At Grant Park Edition
Okay, I look like a complete jackass in this picture, but I was thoroughly intoxicated and overwhelmed with joy.  It was an amazing night that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.  To celebrate my brother’s birthday (yesterday) and mine (today) together was special.  When Barack came out my brother hugged me and began to cry a little bit as he said, “We really did do it.  I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our birthdays.”
The scene in the Loop last night was by far the happiest, most joyous celebration I’ve ever been a part of.  It was amazing to see people of all ages, races, and backgrounds coming together, sharing hugs and high fives, just knowing that America can come together and make a difference.
