I’ll give the little guy credit though, he put in some serious effort - and ups - but to no avail.

Juliette, aka Little Monster, made her first visit to the city yesterday. She’s not easy to photograph, as she never seems to be sitting still - especially when you put a camera in front of her face.
A photo my mom sent me from last weekend. Forbs decided to tear apart a bag of flour and have himself a rather bland meal while my parents were out to dinner. Never doubt the appetite of this 12 lb monster!

Meet 7 week old Juliette

Going for a ride!

Uncle Forbin is already on the lookout

Forbin didn't forget Karla, his 1st mom

She found a warm, soft place to sleep

Meet Juliette, the newest addition to the Simpson family. Juliette is Forbin’s niece, and weighs in at 3 lbs, 2 oz. She’s only seven weeks old, and quite the clumsy little creature. She’s already missing her mom and brothers, not unlike how her uncle was when I picked him up from the min-pin farm 3 years ago this week.
She looks a little different than most red miniature pinschers, and has facial features that look very similar to Forbin’s. Dobbs and Forbs have already taken her in and will have a new play pal running around with them, something they’ve missed an awful lot since Tucker passed away.

Most popular dog in the city? I’m starting to think so.
Lately Forbin has become more independent and taken to locating himself in some curious places, such as my closet. I have a very small closet, and thus have clothes and linens stuffed above the containers that most of my non-hanging clothes reside in. Forbs has decided this is a great spot to go in the morning once the sun has come out. He can keep it dark and cool, while laying in the comfort of soft items, making his own little nest.
He doesn’t hide, however, and is more than glad to come chill with you. I think it’s just natural that the little man has taken to himself a bit more, and enjoys his independence. He’s no baby!
